The Financial Aid technical team consists of a technical lead and three additional programmer analysts who support the Financial Aid offices at each of the UNT System institutions. Primary responsibilities include:
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) support
- Pre-Awarding processing annual review and updates (Checklists, Communications, Financial Aid Term, Verification, Budgets, and Packaging Variables)
- Authorization and Disbursement annual review and updates (Disbursement configuration and rules, Satisfactory Academic Progress support)
- Scholarship, Grants, and Loan processing support
- Federal and state reporting
