The Enterprise Database Administration team (EDBA) is responsible for maintaining
the foundational service required for all Enterprise Applications - the databases.
EDBA is responsible for running the database systems that house critical enterprise
information for UNT, UNT HSC, UNT Dallas, and UNT System Administration. The team
focuses on the health, stability, and performance of each database in their care.
They also work with technical and functional teams to optimize how they interact with
the data and database systems.
EDBA currently manage Oracle and Microsoft SQL server databases to support critical enterprise applications like Peoplesoft, Perceptive Content, and SAS.
