System IT's Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity planning is maintained by the Cybersecurity team. Cybersecurity is ultimately responsible for maintaining up to date plans for the timely recovery of enterprise infrastructure and applications that have a large impact on the business continuity of not only System IT, but all of the UNT System as a whole.
If you are unsure about the existence of a DR plan for your team, have DR plans that are out of date and need assistance in updating them, or are contemplating the deployment of an enterprise system, please email drbcp@untsystem.edu.
Business Continuity for the Individual
In order to protect your important files, you should save your files to your institutional OneDrive for Business folder on your computer. By saving to your OneDrive folder, all files in that folder are automatically backed up into the cloud, making them available to you anywhere you have internet access, as well as protecting your data in the case of computer failure. If you experience any errors or issues using OneDrive for Business, please contact the IT helpdesk for your campus.
