PeopleSoft upgrade to improve day-to-day operations, allow for easier access from mobile devices

Information Technology Shared Services soon will launch a new simpler and more modern portal for students, faculty and staff as part of an upgraded version of the software that manages the human resource and payroll systems.

As part of the PeopleSoft Upgrade Project, ITSS is planning an update to the my.unt.edu, my.hsc.unt.edu and mylaw.untdallas.edu portals that will be more suited for mobile devices.

The UNT System's new personal and tablet computer standardization regulation, which is effective immediately, provides for negotiated pricing and volume discounts with Dell and Apple and sets new standard configurations for computers and tablets used at employee workstations and in libraries, labs, and teaching and testing centers across system campuses to best meet the academic and work needs of students, faculty and staff.
